Chicken Recipes for Dinner Tonight


There are such wonderful flavors found all over the world. Today, the world doesn't seem as big and unreachable as it used to just a decade ago. And thanks to this, we get to eat and savor different cuisines without having to travel far. Of course, if you want the authentic flavors and taste, you will have to go to its place of origin. But what if you want to cook them in your own kitchen. No recipe is tough to follow and you can bring the similar taste as restaurants do. How? Because whenever we want any kind of recipes, we can search for them online in a jiffy. Which brings us to our article. You can make hundreds of dishes with chicken as the main ingredient, literally. And, you can cook with different flavors, herbs, and spices. How, you ask? Simple. All you got to do is follow the chicken recipes for dinner which are given below and find out for yourself.

Chicken Seekh Kabab

Ingredients
  • 2 lb. lean ground chicken breasts
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons cumin, ground
  • 2 teaspoons cilantro, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon green chili paste
  • 1 tablespoon ginger paste
  • cup mint leaves, chopped
  • cup vegetable oil
  • Salt and black pepper, for taste
Directions

In a bowl, combine ground chicken, onions, mint leaves, 1 cups cilantro leaves, ginger and chili paste, cumin, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper together. Cover the bowl and place it inside a refrigerator for about 2 hours. Bring the bowl out so we can make the seekh. Take 1 cup of chicken mixture and press them on the skewer in the shape of sausage. When all the seekhs are ready, place them in a platter and refrigerate for another 30 minutes. Take a skillet and drizzle vegetable oil on top. Place the seekhs in the hot skillet and cook from all sides. When the meat turns golden brown on top, garnish with cilantro and drizzle lemon juice (optional). Serve and enjoy this appetizer.

Chicken Marsala

Ingredients
  • 16 sage leaves, large
  • 8 slices prosciutto, large
  • 8 chicken cutlets
  • 3 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 2 tablespoons All-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons capers in brine, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • cup Marsala wine
  • Salt and black pepper, for taste
Directions

Preheat the oven at 350F. First we will wrap the chicken cutlets with prosciutto. Place 2 sage leaves in each prosciutto slice and wrap it around the chicken cutlets. In a plate, season the flour with salt and black pepper. Coat the cutlets in this flour properly and place on the side. Now heat a skillet and add 1 tablespoon butter in it. When the butter begins to foam, not burn, place 4 cutlets at a time and cook over medium-high heat. Once the cutlets turn golden brown, turn them around and cook on the other side. Place the cooked cutlets in a baking dish and add 1 more tablespoon butter to it. Place this dish inside the oven and bake for about 6 to 8 minutes. Meanwhile, add Marsala wine in the skillet. Constantly stir the wine and add capers to it. Add the remaining butter and simmer till you get the sauce ready. Remove the baking dish out of the oven and spoon this sauce over the cutlets. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve.

Chicken Fajitas

Ingredients
  • 10 flour tortillas
  • 5 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 potatoes, small cubes
  • 3 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 lb chicken breasts, skinless and boneless
  • 1 onion, '' slices
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup cilantro
  • jalapeo, seeded
  • Cayenne pepper
  • Jack cheese, grated
  • Sour cream and salsa
  • Salt and black pepper, for taste
Directions

Preheat the oven at 375F. Take a rolling pin to flatten chicken breasts to '' thick' place them in a glass baking dish in a single layer. Now take a blender to mix 2 tablespoons olive oil, jalapeo, garlic, lime juice, cup cilantro, cayenne, salt, and black pepper. Blend till the mixture is smooth and pour this over the chicken breasts. Cover the pan with Saran wrap and marinade the chicken for about half an hour. Meanwhile, take a skillet and heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in it. Saut onions and bell peppers in it till tender and almost begin to turn brown.

Now take another glass baking dish and add potato cubes with 1 tablespoon olive oil, salt, black pepper. Place the dish in the oven and let the potatoes turn crisp. Stir the potatoes in between so they don't stick to the dish. Next take a cast iron grill pan and toast the tortillas; 30 seconds each side. Wrap them up in aluminum foil and keep it aside. Bring the chicken out and in the same grill pan, cook the chicken for another 4 to 5 minutes. When the chicken is grilled, cut into long strips, serve in a platter. Arrange the onion and bell peppers, potatoes, grated cheese, sour cream, and salsa.
