All these sumptuous dishes go for a toss when water enters the grill and the entire body of the grill gets wet, hence ceases the working of the grill. Many people go into a panic as to what to do if the inside of a grill gets wet. The answer being simple, dry it and the grill gets back in the best of its condition. Disconnect
The first thing you do when water enters your grill is disconnect it from the main gas supply to avoid any release or leakage of the flammable gas. Any leakage of this flammable gas is toxic, if inhaled. In case of an electric grill, disconnect it from the mains. If the gas or electric grill is hot, wait until it cools down before thinking of touching it.

Disassemble
Next, you disassemble the various parts of the grill, so as to facilitate the drying and cleaning of the grill. Begin removing the grilling grates and the rocks that are found on top of the burner, if you find it difficult to disassemble, get the grill manual and follow the instructions given.

Drying
Once your done with the disassembling process, you will come across the burner, which is usually placed beneath the grilling grates, and normally has a cover. Now, dab the wet area of the gas grill with a soft paper towel or a dry cloth. Leave it open for a while until the wet area is completely dried.
