Grilling Lobster Tails

Grilling lobsters is not as difficult as it sounds, all you need is lobster tails, a grill, a grilling guide and oh! of course, an appetite for lobster. A systematic approach along with the appropriate recipe that is executed properly will surely delight any lobster lover. The following are two recipes that are pretty easy and can be prepared within a short period of time.

Recipe 1

The first recipe is rather simple and can be used in case if you haven't grilled any kind of shellfish before. Make sure that you assemble the ingredients and requirements first on the kitchen platform before starting the actual process of grilling. You will require about half an hour for the actual grilling.

Requirements
The following are the requirements for this recipe:
  • 6 lobster tails
  • cup, olive oil
  • cup, lemon juice, preferably fresh
  • A tablespoon of fresh dill
  • Salt and black pepper
Directions
The procedure involved in the preparation of this specific recipe is relatively simple and goes as follows:

To grill the lobster tails, I would recommend that you use frozen and packaged lobster tails. Preheat the grill and set it on a medium to high heat level. Next use a sharp and long knife and cut the lobster tails into half along its length. Make sure that you expose a generous portion of the flesh inside. Next, combine all the remaining ingredients namely the olive oil, lemon juice, dill, salt and pepper into a large bowl. Next, brush and apply the mixture onto the flesh of the lobster and then let it settle down for a few of minutes. Put the lobster tails on to the grill for about 3 to 4 minutes. Then slowly turn the lobster and again grill for 3 to 4 minutes. If the size of the lobster tail is large, grill it for a longer period of time. After you are done with the grilling, remove the lobster from the grill and let it cool down a bit. Then serve and enjoy.

Recipe 2

This recipe for grilling lobster tails may not seem simple, but is extremely delicious, certainly worth a try if you are enthusiastic for a buttery treat.

Requirements
The requirements of this recipe are almost the same as the recipe that I have mentioned above. Take a look.

Directions
The preparation of the buttery grilled lobster tails is a bit complex. Here's how it's done:

On a cutting board place the lobster upside down, on its back. With the help of a good knife, cut the underside (also known as the under shell) of the lobster. Cutting the under shell is pretty easy as it is thin and soft. Next cut small and partial sections in the meat to let it butterfly a bit and then drive a skewer through the lobster in order to prevent it from curling up. The next step involves seasoning. In the earlier recipe we prepared a mixture with many ingredients in it. For this recipe, you can either prepare such a mixture or directly use the butter. Whatever you do, make sure that you place the mixture and butter in the butterfly-like cuts that have been made in the flesh. You can also deploy an alternative style of cooking to prepare the butter dressing and seasoning. Put a stick of butter and a couple of spoons of lemon juice in a food processor or blend it into a paste. Apply the paste on the grilled lobster tails, then add a pinch of salt, some pepper, a clove of garlic or two and a tablespoon of dill and hot pepper sauce. Wrap it up in aluminum foil and grill for 10 to 20 minutes depending upon the size of the lobster, while occasional turning to let it cook thoroughly.
