Ground Chicken Recipes


Chicken is one of the most favorite dishes amongst many of my friends! Be it any occasion, the various chicken recipes prepared as per diverse cuisines, often end up being the main food item. It goes without saying it vanishes from the plates in no time! Every cuisine has its own special recipes to prepare chicken in the best possible way. Here, I have compiled some special ground chicken recipes that have been a favorite amongst many!

Recipe 1

Ingredients
Ground chicken - (12 ounces)
Soy sauce (2 tablespoons)
Ginger juice (1 teaspoon)
Sake (2 tablespoons)
Sugar (2 teaspoons)

Preparation
First, you need to place the chicken in a skillet. Now, add the sake to the skillet along with the sugar. Stir this mixture and separate the pieces of meat before you begin cooking the same. Then, place the skillet over low heat. Let it cook well and allow the meat pieces to crumble a bit. After some minutes, the gravy will turn a shade of white.

Next, you have to remove the excess fat therefore; you would need to skim the liquid. Let it cook for another 2 minutes. Now, add the ginger juice and turn up the heat. This will help to reduce any amount of excess liquid in the pan. Once this is done, remove it from heat and let it cool down. You would need to refrigerate it for three days. After this particular period, reheat the same over low heat. You can also add a few drop of water.

Recipe 2

Ingredients
1 chicken - cut into pieces (4 pound)
Carrot - peeled (1 small)
Water (4 cups)
Salt (1-1/2 teaspoons)
French bread - crusts removed (2)
Walnuts - ground (14 ounces)
Salt (1 teaspoon)
Garlic - crushed (2 cloves)
Ground red pepper (2 teaspoons)
Whole potato - peeled (1 medium)
Whole onion - peeled (1 small)

Preparation
Place chicken, onion, carrot and potatoes in a large saucepan and add water. Allow it to boil. Use around 1- teaspoons for seasoning. Then, reduce the heat and let it simmer for at least an hour. Once the chicken and vegetables turn tender, strain the same and reserve the broth and discard the vegetables. As the chicken cools down, chop the meat into tiny pieces.

Then, soften bread into chicken broth. Squeeze it and place it in a large bowl, which has ground walnuts, red pepper and garlic. Sprinkle a teaspoon of salt over this preparation. Blend well. Now, place this mixture in cheesecloth. You have to squeeze the oil from the ground walnuts and place it in a small bowl. Then, place the walnut mixture in a large bowl. Add the reserved amount of chicken broth to this very slowly till the mixture turns thick. Now, you need to place the shredded chicken in a dish. Also add around 2 tablespoons of walnut mixture. Use the walnut mixture over the entire chicken. With a spoon, smooth the mixture. Next, you need to pour the reserved oil over the top. Your chicken dish is now ready to be served!
