- 4 to 5 loin pork chops
- 2 to 3 fresh tomatoes, chopped
- 2 large onions, finely chopped
- cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoons pepper
- 1 cup bread crumbs (plain or flavored)
- 2 eggs beaten
- 2 chicken bouillon cubes
- cup water
- Salt to taste
In a bowl beat the eggs and dip the loin pork chops in it. Now dip these pork chops in the bread crumbs till the pork is covered with it. Heat some extra virgin olive oil in a shallow frying pan, and fry the dipped pork chops till they turn light brown. Transfer these browned pork chops into another shallow pan and top it with chopped onions and tomatoes. Sprinkle pepper and salt and mix properly. You can also add seasonings of your choice. Boil half cup of water in a saucepan and dissolve 2 chicken bouillon cubes in it. Pour this dripping over the pork chops and cover the pan with an aluminum foil and bake this dish in a preheated oven at 375 degrees for about 45 minutes.
How to Cook Pork Chops in the Oven
Ingredients
- 4 pork chops, trimmed
- 1 cup herb seasoned dry bread stuffing mix
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 egg, beaten
- Salt to taste
In a preheated oven at 425 F, melt the butter in a baking pan. In a medium-sized bowl, beat the egg and stir the milk, pepper and salt together. Dip the pork chops in this egg mixture and coat these pieces with herb seasoned dry bread stuffing mix. Place these coated pieces in the baking pan containing melted butter. Bake this in the oven for about 10 minutes. Remove the pan from the oven and turn the pork chops and bake it again for another 10 minutes till the pork chops get cooked.
Grilled Pork Chops
Ingredients
- 4 large pork chops
- 4 green bell peppers, halved and seeded
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- teaspoon olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 teaspoon rosemary
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- Salt to taste
Take a medium-sized bowl and mix the seasonings, olive oil, honey and minced garlic together. Coat the halved bell peppers with vegetable oil. Spread this mixture over the pork chops and cook them and the bell peppers together on the preheated grill for about 15 to 20 minutes till the pork chops get cooked.
Pork Chops and Stuffing Casserole Recipe
Ingredients
- 4 pork chops
- 1 large apple, peeled, cored and chopped
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 ribs celery, chopped
- 4 tablespoons butter
- cup chopped onion
- 1 can condensed cream of celery soup
- 1 cups water
- teaspoon dried rubbed sage
- 1 package stovetop style stuffing mix with herbs
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- Salt to taste
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat and cook the pork chops till they turn light brown. Remove the pork chops from the skillet and place them on a greased baking dish. In the same skillet add some more olive oil and cook the chopped apple, celery and onion till the onion and celery become tender. Add the water, sage and butter and stir till the butter has melted and water begins to boil. In a small bowl, mix the condensed cream of celery soup with cup water and keep aside. Stir in the stuffing mix and allow it to cook for sometime. Transfer this mixture and the soup water mixture over the pork chops in the baking dish. Cover the casserole with an aluminum foil and bake it in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes. Remove the casserole from the oven, uncover it, and then bake it for 15 minutes more.
